Hi there! My name is Debi, and I’m an international board certified lactation consultant (IBCLC). I’ve worked in many different areas including Cardiac, Transplant, Surgery, Antepartum, Mother-Baby, and Lactation!

My passion for Lactation stemmed from my own struggles during my journey with breastfeeding as a new mom. I often tell people that breastfeeding was one of the hardest things I ever learned how to do! This experience drove me to pursue Lactation studies and become an IBCLC. Encouraging and supporting mamas during this beautiful but challenging time brings me so much joy!

When I’m not working, you can find me homeschooling my 2 kiddos, RV-ing, and learning how to homestead in the country.

The first few weeks after giving birth can be the most raw and challenging time of a woman's life. It is also a beautiful time of learning, growing, and bonding. Thank you for allowing me to come into your home and support you during this sweet time with your precious little one. I am so blessed to be a part of the Choose Joy Nursing team, and I can’t wait to meet you!
