POSTSURGICAL CARE

We offer customizable postsurgical care with overnight support as well as add on daytime hours and check in visits. Typically from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m., a registered nurse will come into your home or temporary accommodations to help after your surgery by:

Assisting the patient with their personal care needs and ensuring they are as comfortable as possible for rest and optimal healing

Assessing incisions and changing dressings as needed

Assessing pain and administering medication as needed

Monitoring vital signs and communicating with your surgeon

Drain care and education as needed

Administering fluids and discontinuing IVs as needed

Educating on post surgical care

Assisting with early ambulation and mobility
