Melanie here!

I am a Chicago native that has been in Nashville since 2015 after I graduated from nursing school at Northern Illinois university. Before becoming a nurse, I was a nanny for many families and cared for children of all ages. I have always had a strong passion for caring for vulnerable populations, which led me to working in pediatrics at Vanderbilt Childrens Hospital. I eventually left the bedside to pursue my masters degree while working in home care and other pediatric hospital administration positions. I am so lucky to be in a management position at VCH during the day, and to still be able to provide care for families and their newborns at night with CJN!

I find so much joy in empowering mothers and providing parents with peace of mind while I am in their home. I believe that every child deserves top notch care, and that caring for the caregiver is just as important as caring for your infant. In my free time, you can find my husband and I with our 3 pups, traveling to new destinations or enjoying the amazing restaurants that Nashville has to offer! I can't wait to love on you and your little ones!
