IN-HOME BABY 101 CLASSES

MOVING INTO YOUR FOURTH TRIMESTER: HANDS-ON CLASS

We will come to your home for two and a half hours before your baby is born and educate on everything baby and postpartum, including:

  • Healthy sleep habits

  • Safe sleep

  • Postpartum care and nutrition

  • Postpartum emotions (PPD + PPA)

  • Swaddling

  • Diapering

  • Circumcision care

  • Bottle and breastfeeding education

  • Bath time

  • Nighttime routine

In-Home Night NURSES

In-Home Night CARE

Typically from 9 p.m. to 7 a.m., a registered nurse will come into your home to help by:

  • Developing healthy sleep habits

  • Encouraging safe sleep, decreasing the risk of SIDS

  • Providing support for baby so the parents can get sleep, which is important for health and recovery

  • Supporting middle of the night feedings (breastfeeding and/or bottle support)

  • Burping, holding baby upright, and diapering so parents can get back to sleep sooner

  • Assisting mom with her personal care needs so her partner can sleep

  • Developing an appropriate sleep and feed schedule according to baby weight and medical needs

If you are interested in booking our in-home night nurse service, you can’t book too soon! We book families 6+ months prior to delivery, so please make sure you reach out to us as soon as possible to reserve your spot on our calendar!

LIVE-IN Postpartum Healing PackageS

postpartum doula BY DAY and nurse BY night

There are two Postpartum Healing Package live-in options with a registered nurse. Please inquire about adding a chef.

  • Three days, three nights

  • Seven days, seven nights

postpartum doula / day nurse

From 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., we will help by:

  • Warming and preparing snacks and meals for mom (with a focus on high fiber, protein, fat, iron, and carbs)

  • Keeping mom hydrated by bringing water, tea, and bone broth throughout the day

  • Providing nutritional support for breastfeeding and healing postpartum

  • Supporting feedings (breastfeeding and/or bottle support)

  • Supporting older children so they also feel special and loved during this time of change

  • Diapering

  • Assessing mom postpartum and baby

  • Washing bottles, breast pump parts, and baby laundry

  • Helping with light household chores

NIGHT nurse

From 9 p.m. to 7 a.m., we will help by:

  • Developing healthy sleep habits

  • Encouraging safe sleep, decreasing the risk of SIDS

  • Providing support for baby so the parents can get sleep, which is important for health and recovery

  • Supporting middle of the night feedings (breastfeeding and/or bottle support)

  • Burping, holding baby upright, and diapering so parents can get back to sleep sooner

  • Assisting mom with her personal care needs so her partner can sleep

IN-HOME LACTATION CONSULTATIONS

In-HOME BREASTFEEDING SUPPORT

Our international board certified lactation consultant (IBCLC) can address issues and questions regarding:

  • Positioning and latching

  • Feeding challenges

  • Milk supply concerns

  • Breast and nipple pain

  • Poor infant weight gain

  • Pumping

  • Engorgement

Virtual sleep consultationS

A Custom Sleep Plan

During our time together we will talk through a personalized plan for parents, baby, self-care, eating, sleeping habits, sleep routines, etc. We will come up with a schedule together that is customized specifically for you and your baby.

Includes:

  • Initial one hour virtual meeting

  • Three to five days of accountability and support via text, notes, and voice memos
